Verify a letter
Is a letter from Privacy Resolve real?
You can check a letter in a few minutes. Here is where letters come from, where the access code is, how to reach us, and how payment works.
Where letters come from
- Email comes only from @privacyresolve.com addresses. Letters are sent from case-notice@privacyresolve.com, and replies go to contact@privacyresolve.com.
- Paper letters come by mail.
- Each letter names your website and states a deadline and an access code.
Check the access code
- Your access code is in the box at the end of the letter, and in the email if the letter came by email.
- Enter it on the access page. A real code opens a secure portal that names your website and shows the record of the visit, the deadline and your options.
- If you cannot find the code, request a short-lived one on the lookup page with your website's domain and an authorized business email address, or call (888) 649-4500.
Reach us directly
- Call or text (888) 649-4500.
- Email contact@privacyresolve.com.
- Mail: Privacy Resolve, 14 Harwood Ct, Suite 415 #1058, Scarsdale, NY 10583.
- Use these details rather than any in a message you are unsure of. If something does not match this page, do not pay. Call us first, and forward the message to contact@privacyresolve.com.
Paying safely
- Privacy Resolve takes payment only in its portal, or by bank transfer to the written instructions the claimant sends with the signed agreement. Confirm those instructions by phone at (888) 649-4500 before you send money.
- Payment in the portal is an ACH bank transfer through Stripe. Payment is due only under a signed settlement agreement.
- Privacy Resolve never changes payment instructions by email alone.
- No one will ask for a card number, gift cards or cryptocurrency.
Deadlines
- The deadline is the date stated in your letter.
- You may ask for more time in writing. A deadline moves only when the claimant confirms the new date in writing.
Who sends the letters
- Privacy Resolve is not a law firm, and it does not represent recipients.
- Each letter identifies the claimant, the person whose visit to your website it describes.
- You may involve your own attorney at any time. Attorneys will find what they need on the page for counsel.
